In a few weeks I might be making a new account.
I won't be deleting this one, but I will be stripping
it down and clearing out what I don't like.
When I joined dA I was a student in school
playing around with various mediums, digital
or otherwise. I created some interesting pieces,
but nothing truly intentional or anything that could
be considered real art or design... more like
experiments.
I lost interest over the past two years as kids fresh with a
copy of photoshop seemingly flocked to dA with intentions
to exploit it as a social networking platform... while I too
joined as a newbie to the digital art age, I don't recall ever
seeking to use dA as anything other than an art-centered
discussion and gallery.
I also felt, for a time, that many of dA's policies and
copyright agreements were somewhat exploitive and
for the most part a hassle. The red tape had choked the
freedom of expression, so to speak.
Those "veterans" among you will no doubt recall the
much hyped-up Jark & Matteo VS deviantART fiasco,
and various other earlier "cases" of dA's collapse as a simple
online gallery for artists/designers to it's evolution as a
free-for-all social network for every kid with a web-cam,
so to speak.
Now, as I see the dA community returning to what it
once was (sort of), namely, a community of artists and designers,
I feel compelled to update. Although sensationalism and
social-standings still reign supreme, I see many professionals
and others in my industry getting on board.
So why not make a comeback.
I am now a 3rd year Visual Communications student and
freelance graphic designer. I mainly produce work for clients
in the music & creative industries. On the side I like to
consider myself an artist, creative and music junkie.
Stay tuned for new account details.
Devious Comments
To be honest I don't really remember how I did mine, but I believe it would have been similar to this technique! So it still kinda has the Killy touch, I guess
Good luck with it and I'm waiting for the unveiling of some new kickarse work from you Stuck. The anticipation is on the brink of an explosion!

It's Chanell from uni (the one that marked your typo work the other day)/ Just thought I'd watch your work. Your work here is kinda different to the stuff I've seem at uni so far but still just as good.

Big mistake.
Stuckey is lettin the theorem down bigtime! We must call arms immediately! (a bit hard with my persistence bandwagon but hey a truce can be met every now and then)
Now we gotta get Stuckey back on here and rollin.
Also Daz, photography is the new dig (since I'm doing it!)
I've got one of their albums! They are great.
Guess what!
I've been taking photos. This is excellent because there is a good chance such photos will be uploaded to DA.
I bet you're shaking in anticipation!
And nice stuff you've put up here in my abscence. I know you've got heaps more stuff to put up though, you little graphic designer you.
I would LOVE to do a collab with you. But you see, Darling, I've had a horrible case of writer's block.
I'm not sure I would be of any use!
