To me, the circular light shimmering to the left behind the character firstly suggests car headlights, hence the character is trapped in an alley. The despair in the eyes also suggests perhaps a final chapter in the life of the figure...but really the eye line is also higher than the wall (i assume wall) so they could easily jump free.
The reddish-brown colour you got goin on intrigues me...in fact it reminds me a little of the movie Daredevil...is this person a hero of the night?
Or could that light i referred to earlier be a stage light with the red representing the revealing of a character's inner fear as they prepare for the onslaught of a theatre performance?
For some stupid reasaon the brown jawline reminds me of Wolverine...and this piece leaves me hanging on what on earth is on top of the head?
